CORID® (amprolium) 25% TYPE A MEDICATED ARTICLE is an aid in the treatment and prevention of bovine coccidiosis caused by Eimeria bovis and E. zuernii in calves.

An aid in the treatment and prevention of coccidiosis caused by Eimeria bovis and E. zurnii in calves.

Active Ingredient or Composition

(amprolium)

Dosage & Administration

21-DAY PREVENTION: 227 mg amprolium/100 lb (5 mg/kg) body weight per day for 21 days during period of exposure or when experience indicates that coccidiosis is likely to be a hazard.

5-DAY TREATMENT: 454 mg amprolium/100 lb (10 mg/kg) body weight per day for 5 days. Use on a herd basis only; when one or more calves show signs of coccidiosis, it is likely that the rest of the group has been exposed and all calves in the group should be treated.

IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION: CORID® (amprolium) 25% TYPE A MEDICATED ARTICLE: Not for Human Use. Keep out of the reach of children. Mix in feed as per directions and use as the sole source of amprolium.  Do not use in feeds containing bentonite.  Withdraw product 24 hours before slaughter.  A withdrawal period has not been established for pre-ruminating calves.  Do not use in calves to be processed for veal.
