Fermented vitamin D3 metabolite
BIO D® is a fermented vitamin D3 metabolite, 25- hydroxycholecalciferol (25-OH-D3).
A novel metabolite option is Bio D®, a 25-hydroxy vitamin D3 produced via fermentation, broadening the choice for vitamin D supplementation. Bio D® supports bone strength and egg shell quality in poultry and is a stable alternative to 25-OH-D3.
For Use in Manufactured Feed Only
Store in supplied package out of direct sunlight. Two year shelf life when stored as specified.
For broilers, laying hens, and broiler breeders:
Use 1 lb. (454 grams) per 2000 lbs. of complete feed.
(Finished feed contains 34 ppb of 25-Hydroxyvitamin D3.)
For turkeys, turkey breeders, and all other poultry:
Use 1.32 lb (598.8 g) per 2000 lb of complete feed (feed will contain 46 ppb of 25-OH D3).
Poultry: Do not exceed 68 ppb (2 lbs. of BIO D®) in feed. Do not use simultaneously with drinking water containing 25-Hydroxyvitamin D3.
For Swine:
Use at a rate of 0.79 lb. (358 g) - 2.37 lb. (1,075 g) per 2,000 lbs. of complete feed.
