Product Information

ADVENT® P is an orally administered, live coccidiosis vaccine for broiler-breeders and commercial layers. ADVENT® P is strategic in controlling coccidiosis by stimulating protective immunity and can be used as a biologic control method in antibiotic-free production systems. ADVENT® P contains Eimeria brunetti and E. necatrix.

Indication

This product has been shown to be effective for the vaccination of healthy chickens one day of age or older against coccidiosis due to E. brunetti and E. necatrix. Precautions

  • Inactivate unused contents before disposal.
  • Vaccinate only healthy chickens.
  • Feed and water containing anti-coccidial drugs should not be given to chicks receiving this vaccine for 21-days post-vaccination.
  • Do not mix with other products, except as specified on this label.
  • In case of human exposure, contact a physician.
  • Do not vaccinate within 21 days before slaughter.
  • Federal regulations prohibit the repackaging or sale of the contents of this carton in fractional units.
  • Do not accept if the seal is broken.
  • All chickens should be vaccinated at the same time.

Storage & Handling

Shelf Life: 9 months

Store at 35-46ºF (2-8ºC). Do not freeze

Active Ingredient or Composition

ADVENT® P coccidiosis vaccine contains live oocysts of Eimeria necatrix and Eimeria brunetti. Contains gentamicin and amphotericin B as preservatives.

Dosage & Administration

For use in chickens only. Shake vials well before using. Dilute vaccine with clean tap water using a clean container. Dye may be added as a marker. SPRAY CABINET APPLICATION: Dilute each 10,000 dose vial according to the spray equipment manufacturer's recommendations. When using a Huvepharma supplied spray cabinet, it is recommended to dilute 10,000 doses to 2,500 mL. ON FEED APPLICATION: Dilute each 10,000 dose vial to 4,000 mL and apply to the feed. Stir contents of sprayer periodically. Apply vaccine on the first feed chicks receive.
