Product Information

Tylovet® Soluble (tylosin tartrate) is a broad spectrum antibiotic usable in multiple species.

Indication

Chickens: For the control of mortality caused by necrotic enteritis (NE) associated with Clostridium perfringens in broiler chickens. As an aid in the treatment of chronic respiratory disease (CRD) associated with Mycoplasma gallisepticum in broiler and replacement chickens. For the control of CRD associated with Mycoplasma gallisepticum at the time of vaccination or other stress in chickens. For the control of CRD associated with Mycoplasma synoviae in broiler chickens.

Turkeys: For the reduction in severity of effects of infectious sinusitis associated with Mycoplasma gallisepticum.

Swine: For the treatment and control of swine dysentery associated with Brachyspira hyodysenteriae. For the treatment and control of swine dysentery associated with Brachyspira hyodysenteriae when followed immediately by tylosin phosphate Type A medicated article in feed. For the control of porcine proliferative enteropathies (PPE, ileitis) associated with Lawsonia intracellularis when followed immediately by tylosin phosphate Type A medicated article in feed.

Honey Bees: For the control of American Foulbrood (Paenibacillus larvae).

Storage & Handling

Store at or below 25oC (77oF). Excursions permitted to 40º C (104° F). Avoid moisture.

IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION: TYLOVET® SOLUBLE (tylosin tartrate): Not for Human Use. Keep out of the reach of children. For oral use in chickens, turkeys, swine and honey bees. Do not treat swine within 2 days of slaughter. Do not treat chickens within 24 hours of slaughter. Do not use in layers producing eggs for human consumption. Do not treat turkeys within 5 days of slaughter. Do not treat swine within 48 hours of treatment. Feed to honey bees early in the spring or fall assuring that the treatment is consumed at least 4 weeks prior to the main honey flow to avoid contamination of production honey. Complete treatments at least 4 weeks prior to main honey flow. Always add the water to the powder. Do not pour the powder into the water. Exposure to tylosin may cause a rash. When mixing and handling TYLOVET® use protective clothing and impervious gloves. Only medicated water should be available (chickens, turkeys, swine) while medicating with TYLOVET® Soluble.
