GAINPRO® 10 (Bambermycins Type A Medicated Article)

GAINPRO^® 10 (Bambermycins Type A Medicated Article) is a performance enhancing antibiotic intended and available solely for use in animal nutrition. GAINPRO^® 10 is predominately effective against gram-positive pathogenic bacteria; however it does not have significant action against lactobacillus, bifidobacterium, and other protective bacteria. Its effect is to inhibit the synthesis of the bacterial cell wall.

GAINPRO^® 10 has no withdrawal requirement. GAINPRO^® 10 is not absorbed by the intestine and no measurable residues are found in edible tissues even when fed at up to 50 times the normal recommended dosage.

GAINPRO is available in 50 lb bags with ten grams of bambermycins activity per pound of Type A medicated premix. GAINPRO is approved for use at 10 to 20 mg bambermycins per head per day in cattle fed in confinement for slaughter and at 10 to 40 mg bambermycins per head per day in pasture cattle.

Store in a cool, dry place. Store at or below 25°C (77°F), excursions permitted to 40°C (104°F).
