ERP & CRM Architect
The ERP & CRM Architect is responsible for the overall architecture, design, and roadmap of the organization’s ERP and CRM platforms, primarily Microsoft Dynamics AX (Axapta) and Dynamics 365. The role ensures that business processes are optimally supported by scalable, secure, and integrated solutions, aligning technology with business strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and maintain the architectural vision, principles, standards, and reference models for ERP (D365 FO, Axapta) and CRM (D365 CE).
- Design and govern solution architecture, ensuring alignment with business objectives and IT strategy.
- Design end-to-end solutions across ERP, CRM, and reporting platforms (QlikView, Power BI, Cognos, IBM Netezza).
- Define integration patterns and APIs with other business systems, including reporting and data warehouses.
- Lead system consolidation, modernization, and migration projects.
- Work closely with business stakeholders, process owners, and senior leadership to translate business requirements into architectural blueprints.
- Ensure adherence to architectural standards, data governance, and security best practices.
- Lead architecture reviews and ensure proper documentation.
- Define the ERP and CRM technology roadmap, staying informed about Microsoft releases and relevant industry trends.
- Drive adoption of new features, modules, and updates from the Microsoft Dynamics ecosystem.
- Work closely with BI and Data teams to ensure ERP & CRM data supports analytics platforms (Power BI, QlikView, Cognos, IBM Netezza).
Key Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in architecture, design, and implementation of Microsoft Dynamics AX (Axapta) and Dynamics 365 (Finance & Operations, Customer Engagement).
- Strong knowledge of ERP & CRM business processes (finance, sales, supply chain, customer service, etc.).
- Familiarity with reporting platforms (Power BI, QlikView) and data platforms (IBM Netezza, Cognos).
- Experience with TOGAF, Zachman, or similar frameworks is preferred.
- Experience with Azure integration services, APIs, middleware, and master data management.
- Excellent communication skills; able to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver within deadlines.
- Experience in multi-country or multi-entity environments is preferred.
- 7+ years of experience in ERP/CRM architecture, with at least 3 years focused on Dynamics 365 or Axapta.
- Certifications in Dynamics 365, Azure, or enterprise architecture are a plus.
