Aseptic Technician II
We are hiring an aseptic technician for our pharmaceutical production facility in Lincoln, NE. If you have lab experience in a USDA or FDA regulated facility, or an associate degree in biology or a related field, let’s talk!

Duties of the Aseptic Technician II:
- Perform duties assigned daily by supervisor or senior laboratory personnel in accordance with company safety guidelines, batch record requirements, and regulatory agencies
- Independently perform all steps in the batch production process including processing, fermentation, sanitization, blending, bacterin growth, virus production, and filling.
- Execute operations in two separate production areas
- Perform manufacturing operations using large scale processing equipment including centrifuges, tangential flow filtration systems, fermenters, autoclaves, and sterilizers to process and fill sterile vaccine
- Report all deviations from batch record requirements, SOP’s or company policy, or equipment failures immediately to production supervisor
- Clean equipment in accordance with SOP’s, ensuring work areas are monitored between batches to eliminate the possibility of contamination
- Perform quality checks as scheduled and ensure samples are taken properly following SOP’s
- Complete routine operations for cleaning and replacement of glassware, solutions preparation, autoclaving, and general lab organization
- Record data promptly per company policy and assist in monitoring lab equipment
- Assist in maintaining accurate inventory levels of raw materials, in-process materials, and finished goods
Requirements to be the Aseptic Technician II:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1-3 years of relevant experience in a USDA or FDA regulated facility required
- Associate degree in biology, microbiology, biochemistry, biotechnology, or a related field preferred
